Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.85%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.20% or 25.0 points to trade at 2105.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 0.31% or 40.0 points to end at 13040.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 0.35% or 40.0 points to 11440.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which lost 7.37% or 125.0 points to trade at 1570.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 3.85% or 330.0 points to end at 8250.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) shed 1.64% or 640.0 points to 38360.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 24 to 4 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.11% or 0.13 to $122.95 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.71% or 21.00 to hit $2934.00 , while the June Gold contract rose 0.73% or 9.00 to trade at $1235.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.15% to 2998.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.19% to 851.73.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.24% at 94.71.
