Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 0.50% or 5.0 points to trade at 1005.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 10540.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was unchanged 0% or 0 points to 24.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 2.94% or 340.0 points to trade at 11220.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 2.00% or 55.0 points to end at 2700.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 1.30% or 140.0 points to 10640.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 25 to 1 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.96% or 1.28 to $134.70 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.39% or 7.50 to hit $1901.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 7.68 to trade at $1241.38 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.51% to 3015.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.36% to 955.88.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.52% at 94.43.
