Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which rose 1.16% or 200.0 points to trade at 17400.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 1.14% or 0.2 points to end at 17.7 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 0.79% or 180.0 points to 23100.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH), which lost 1.73% or 400.0 points to trade at 22700.0 in late trade. Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) declined 1.56% or 580.0 points to end at 36620.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) shed 1.48% or 900.0 points to 60100.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 19 to 14 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.17% or 0.23 to $131.62 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.45% or 45.00 to hit $3138.00 , while the August Gold contract rose 0.03% or 0.30 to trade at $1180.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.35% to 2530.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.28% to 811.24.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.01% at 94.98.
