Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 1.16% or 300.0 points to trade at 26200.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 0.84% or 240.0 points to end at 28700.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.38% or 40.0 points to 10660.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 1.94% or 55.0 points to trade at 2775.0 in late trade. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) declined 1.61% or 960.0 points to end at 58520.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) shed 0.94% or 360.0 points to 37920.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 7 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 1.27% or 1.75 to $139.32 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.98% or 21.00 to hit $2153.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 6.15 to trade at $1254.65 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.47% to 2911.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.15% to 930.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.56% at 99.03.
