Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.10% or 30.0 points to trade at 2760.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 0.83% or 0.2 points to end at 24.4 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.74% or 80.0 points to 10920.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which lost 1.27% or 15.0 points to trade at 1165.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 0.89% or 260.0 points to end at 28940.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 0.16% or 1.0 points to 639.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 14 to 11 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.50% or 0.68 to $137.75 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.63% or 34.50 to hit $2078.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.25 to trade at $1253.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.11% to 2856.42, while BRL/COP fell 0.89% to 908.21.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 100.63.
