The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 4.10% or 720.0 points to trade at 18280.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 3.51% or 95.0 points to end at 2800.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) was up 2.71% or 13.0 points to 493.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which lost 4.98% or 245.0 points to trade at 4670.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 1.54% or 160.0 points to end at 10200.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) shed 0.74% or 0.2 points to 26.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.10% or 1.34 to $123.62 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.51% or 10.00 to hit $1961.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.68% or 9.20 to trade at $1347.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.98% to 2790.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.06% to 885.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 89.03.
