The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 1.13% or 0.3 points to trade at 26.8 at the close. Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA ESP (CN:EEB) added 0.99% or 20.0 points to end at 2040.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 0.62% or 60.0 points to 9800.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 3.91% or 95.0 points to trade at 2335.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 2.83% or 13.0 points to end at 447.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 2.60% or 280.0 points to 10500.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.78% or 0.96 to $121.92 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.12% or 2.50 to hit $2031.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.30 to trade at $1316.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.62% to 2905.04, while BRL/COP rose 0.37% to 881.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 90.33.
