Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 1.58% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which rose 0.62% or 80.0 points to trade at 13000.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 0.06% or 20.0 points to end at 35000.0 and Promigas (CN:PMG) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 7000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which lost 6.00% or 1040.0 points to trade at 16300.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 4.61% or 290.0 points to end at 6000.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 4.00% or 15.0 points to 360.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 7 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.26% or 1.30 to $102.20 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.91% or 21.00 to hit $2284.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 4.20 to trade at $1205.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.43% to 3091.80, while BRL/COP rose 0.94% to 756.92.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 94.98.
