Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 1.53%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Promigas (CN:PMG), which rose 1.33% or 100.0 points to trade at 7600.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 0.58% or 400.0 points to end at 69900.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 0.18% or 5.0 points to 2825.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which lost 4.24% or 700.0 points to trade at 15800.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 3.55% or 310.0 points to end at 8420.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 3.34% or 30.0 points to 869.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 3 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.21% or 0.25 to $117.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 2.38% or 63.50 to hit $2726.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1290.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.51% to 2869.24, while BRL/COP fell 0.28% to 780.88.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 93.25.
