Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Services and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.23% or 160.0 points to trade at 13160.0 at the close. Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) added 1.12% or 400.0 points to end at 36000.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 0.63% or 400.0 points to 63400.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 2.26% or 45.0 points to trade at 1945.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.69% or 60.0 points to end at 3500.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) shed 1.59% or 400.0 points to 24700.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 11 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 1.78% or 2.35 to $134.03 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.67% or 19.50 to hit $2949.00 , while the June Gold contract rose 0.43% or 5.10 to trade at $1187.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.70% to 2356.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.82% to 790.98.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 94.88.
