Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO), which rose 4.95% or 1,260.00 points to trade at 26,740.00 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 4.61% or 350.00 points to end at 7,950.00 and Etb (BVC:ETB) was up 1.88% or 1.50 points to 81.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which lost 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 in late trade. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) declined 3.89% or 920.00 points to end at 22,760.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) shed 2.40% or 50.00 points to 2,035.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.42% or 3.45 to $246.35 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.34% or 104.00 to hit $7,854.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.27% or 32.00 to trade at $2,548.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.24% to 4,024.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.51% to 733.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.82% at 100.57.
