Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.18% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 5.13% or 195.0 points to trade at 3995.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 3.03% or 10.0 points to end at 340.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 1.53% or 480.0 points to 31800.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 4.38% or 12.0 points to trade at 262.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 3.71% or 65.0 points to end at 1685.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 2.50% or 250.0 points to 9750.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 11 to 10 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.70% or 0.70 to $99.40 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 2.89% or 64.50 to hit $2294.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1253.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.24% to 3197.20, while BRL/COP rose 0.06% to 817.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 96.545.
