Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.41% or 40.0 points to trade at 2870.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.13% or 35.0 points to end at 3135.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 1.04% or 240.0 points to 23260.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Promigas (CN:PMG), which lost 3.03% or 230.0 points to trade at 7370.0 in late trade. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) declined 1.57% or 520.0 points to end at 32500.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 1.28% or 440.0 points to 33860.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.25% or 0.30 to $119.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.61% or 44.50 to hit $2802.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 3.00 to trade at $1319.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.42% to 2836.41, while BRL/COP fell 0.98% to 787.89.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 92.41.
