Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 0.88% or 25.0 points to trade at 2855.0 at the close. Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA ESP (CN:EEB) added 0.50% or 10.0 points to end at 2000.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was up 0.40% or 0.1 points to 25.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemargos (CN:CCB), which lost 1.85% or 220.0 points to trade at 11680.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 1.48% or 15.0 points to end at 1000.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 1.12% or 110.0 points to 9710.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.19% or 0.25 to $128.22 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 3.84% or 76.00 to hit $2054.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 5.05 to trade at $1283.65 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.24% to 2936.85, while BRL/COP rose 0.28% to 927.62.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 92.89.
