Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Investment, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 2.15% or 200.0 points to trade at 9520.0 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 0.31% or 80.0 points to end at 25480.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.96% or 340.0 points to 35700.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 0.92% or 180.0 points to trade at 19300.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 0.69% or 60.0 points to end at 8600.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 0.44% or 40.0 points to 9120.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 10 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 1.08% or 1.25 to $117.33 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 4.79% or 108.50 to hit $2375.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1302.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.85% to 2858.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.29% to 771.73.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 93.55.
