Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Agriculture and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which rose 2.92% or 380.0 points to trade at 13380.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 1.26% or 110.0 points to end at 8810.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.81% or 160.0 points to 19800.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 1.71% or 45.0 points to trade at 2585.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.06% or 15.0 points to end at 1405.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 0.91% or 9.0 points to 980.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 12 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.34% or 1.75 to $128.45 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 5.51% or 110.00 to hit $1886.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 2.89 to trade at $1258.39 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.12% to 2910.67, while BRL/COP fell 0.18% to 887.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 96.96.
