Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 4.00% or 300.0 points to trade at 7800.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 2.40% or 170.0 points to end at 7250.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 2.30% or 760.0 points to 33800.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which lost 2.63% or 820.0 points to trade at 30320.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 1.69% or 520.0 points to end at 30200.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 1.27% or 15.0 points to 1170.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 10 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.08% or 1.10 to $100.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.48% or 11.00 to hit $2288.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.40 to trade at $1202.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.34% to 3079.05, while BRL/COP fell 1.88% to 740.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 95.11.
