Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 3.15% or 290.0 points to trade at 9490.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 2.96% or 1000.0 points to end at 34800.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was up 2.53% or 360.0 points to 14580.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 4.89% or 125.0 points to trade at 2430.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 1.43% or 120.0 points to end at 8260.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 1.25% or 10.0 points to 790.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 13 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.28% or 1.50 to $115.88 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 3.10% or 73.50 to hit $2443.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 6.60 to trade at $1249.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.01% to 2946.38, while BRL/COP rose 0.55% to 763.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 95.03.
