Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 5.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) added 2.04% or 680.00 points to end at 33,980.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) was up 1.34% or 820.00 points to 61,820.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Celsia SA (BVC:CEL), which lost 2.05% or 85.00 points to trade at 4,060.00 in late trade. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) declined 1.12% or 160.00 points to end at 14,100.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) shed 0.90% or 180.00 points to 19,840.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.59% or 1.33 to $227.68 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 3.40% or 247.00 to hit $7,520.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.30 to trade at $2,336.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.56% to 4,150.26, while BRL/COP fell 2.19% to 741.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 105.53.
