Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Investment, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which rose 2.54% or 480.0 points to trade at 19400.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) fell 0.18% or 60.0 points to end at 33540.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.18% or 400.0 points to 34180.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Promigas (CN:PMG), which lost 1.54% or 120.0 points to trade at 7650.0 in late trade. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) declined 1.08% or 160.0 points to end at 14600.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 1.41% or 11.0 points to 770.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.93% or 1.09 to $116.33 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.98% or 23.50 to hit $2380.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.70 to trade at $1303.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.09% to 2859.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.03% to 769.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 93.57.
