Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 1.82% or 55.0 points to trade at 3085.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 1.37% or 460.0 points to end at 34120.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.36% or 460.0 points to 34320.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 2.67% or 520.0 points to trade at 18940.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 2.19% or 9.0 points to end at 402.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) shed 2.17% or 780.0 points to 35220.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 7 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.87% or 1.05 to $119.67 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 2.69% or 76.50 to hit $2770.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1315.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 2.04% to 2872.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.58% to 797.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 92.94.
