Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which rose 3.33% or 2,320.00 points to trade at 72,000.00 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) added 1.29% or 420.00 points to end at 33,100.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) was up 1.21% or 90.00 points to 7,540.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO), which lost 4.45% or 85.00 points to trade at 1,825.00 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) declined 3.48% or 270.00 points to end at 7,480.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) shed 2.82% or 500.00 points to 17,200.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.31% or 0.78 to $248.98 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 4.77% or 336.00 to hit $7,386.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 9.20 to trade at $2,626.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.01% to 4,234.49, while BRL/COP fell 1.05% to 756.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 102.68.
