Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 5.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 5.26% or 400.00 points to end at 8,000.00 and Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) was up 3.73% or 500.00 points to 13,900.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO), which lost 2.23% or 50.00 points to trade at 2,190.00 in late trade. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) declined 1.18% or 40.00 points to end at 3,345.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) shed 1.05% or 640.00 points to 60,160.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 2.89% or 7.20 to $241.55 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 2.84% or 236.00 to hit $8,557.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 6.70 to trade at $2,427.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.02% to 3,935.40, while BRL/COP fell 1.06% to 722.32.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 103.95.
