U.S. stock futures were lower this morning, with the Dow futures falling over 150 points on Thursday.

Shares of CarMax, Inc. (NYSE: KMX) fell sharply in today’s pre-market trading after the company reported lower-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings.

  • CarMax posted quarterly earnings of 32 cents per share, missing market estimates of 49 cents per share. The company’s quarterly sales came in at $5.63 billion versus expectations of $5.79 billion, according to data from Benzinga Pro.
  • CarMax shares dipped 9.1% to $72.06 in pre-market trading.
  • Here are some big stocks recording losses in today’s pre-market trading session.
  • The Lovesac Company (NASDAQ: LOVE) shares fell 13% to $20.30 in pre-market trading after the company reported worse-than-expected fourth-quarter results and issued first-quarter guidance.
  • Nyxoah S.A. (NASDAQ: NYXH) shares dipped 12.4% to $9.30 in pre-market trading.
  • AVITA Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: RCEL) shares fell 11.6% to $12.76 in pre-market trading after the company announced an update to its expected commercial revenue for the first quarter of 2024. BTIG downgraded the stock from Buy to Neutral.
  • DigiAsia Corp. (NASDAQ: FAAS) shares fell 7.1% to $8.11 in pre-market trading after jumping around 19% on Wednesday.
  • Nanobiotix S.A. (NASDAQ: NBTX) shares declined 6.2% to $6.00 in pre-market trading after gaining over 6% on Wednesday.
  • Grifols, S.A. (NASDAQ: GRFS) shares fell 5% to $6.62 in pre-market trading.
  • Fastenal Company (NASDAQ: FAST) shares declined 5.1% to $70.90 in pre-market trading following worse-than-expected first-quarter financial results.
  • Mercury General Corporation (NYSE: MCY) fell 4.5% to $49.00 in pre-market trading. Mercury General is expected to report first-quarter earnings after the markets close on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
