LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's Co-op said on Wednesday it would raise store workers' pay by 10.1% from April 1, becoming the latest supermarket group to reflect an increase in the government-mandated minimum wage.
The group, which is owned by its members, said its hourly pay rate would rise from 10.90 pounds ($13.87) to 12.0 pounds - above the government's national living wage, which will increase by 9.8% to 11.44 pounds an hour.
