Benzinga - Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved higher this morning, with prices for the most valued cryptocurrency in the world, trading past the $16,800 level on Wednesday ahead of the release of minutes from the recent Federal Reserve meeting.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), also recorded gains, with prices trading above the key $1,250 mark on Wednesday.
Ethereum Classic (CRYPTO: ETC) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while OKB (CRYPTO: OKB) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $818.84 billion, recording a 24-hour gain of 1.3%. BTC was trading higher by 0.6% at $16,849, while ETH rose by around 3% to $1,253 on Wednesday.
