Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 2.61% or 7.2 points to trade at 282.6 at the close. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) added 1.29% or 8.0 points to end at 627.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.24% or 3.8 points to 309.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 1.07% or 4.1 points to trade at 377.5 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 0.55% or 50 points to end at 9100 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) shed 0.38% or 2.0 points to 529.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 69 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 4.25% or 1.55 to $38.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 3.38% or 1.34 to hit $40.99 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.48% or 6.00 to trade at $1256.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.7657, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4611.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.20% at 96.97.
