Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Utilities and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 0.82% or 0.18 points to trade at 22.20 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) added 0.52% or 0.19 points to end at 36.91 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 0.43% or 0.050 points to 11.560 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which lost 1.64% or 0.62 points to trade at 37.15 in late trade. Valmt (HE:VALMT) declined 1.16% or 0.20 points to end at 16.99 and YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) shed 1.15% or 0.09 points to 7.28.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 82 to 53 and 14 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for September delivery was down 0.08% or 0.04 to $49.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $47.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 4.81 to trade at $1224.01 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.13% to 1.1349, while EUR/GBP fell 0.03% to 0.8780.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 95.99.
