Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 4.85% or 65.0 points to trade at 1405.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 2.54% or 15.0 points to end at 605.5 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.92% or 7.3 points to 388.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nets A/S (CO:NETS), which lost 1.64% or 2.20 points to trade at 132.30 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 1.43% or 4.2 points to end at 290.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) shed 0.87% or 2.40 points to 275.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 72 to 50 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.77% or 0.38 to $49.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.73% or 0.38 to hit $52.59 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 5.67 to trade at $1253.03 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.32% to 6.6873, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4413.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 97.52.
