LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Theresa May's Conservative Party holds a 19-point lead over the main opposition Labour Party ahead of a national election on June 8, down a couple of points from last week, according to an opinion poll on Tuesday.
The ICM poll for the Guardian newspaper showed support for the Conservatives at 47 percent, down a point from a week ago.
Labour gained a point to 28 percent, while the Liberal Democrats fell two points to 8 percent, a level of support shared with the pro-Brexit UK Independence Party (UKIP).
Other polls have also shown a slight decline in the Conservative Party's lead over Labour over the last week, but they still point to a sizeable majority for May.
