Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 3.21% or 35.0 points to trade at 1125.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 1.99% or 300.0 points to end at 15360.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was up 1.25% or 15.0 points to 1215.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which lost 2.01% or 1240.0 points to trade at 60540.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.37% or 9.0 points to end at 646.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) shed 0.99% or 360.0 points to 36020.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 18 to 11 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.12% or 1.72 to $151.38 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 2.63% or 57.50 to hit $2128.00 , while the February Gold contract fell 0.70% or 8.35 to trade at $1189.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.68% to 2941.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.45% to 925.54.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.53% at 100.44.
