(Reuters) - About 1,000 police officers from Scotland and England will start training for deployment in Northern Ireland in the event of disorder arising from a no-deal Brexit, the Guardian newspaper reported late on Thursday.

Chiefs from the Police Service of Northern Ireland had asked for the reinforcements to handle any problems that may arise from a hard border, the report said.
