Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for November delivery traded at USD85.08 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.77%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD85.32 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD83.59 and resistance at USD87.95.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.17% to trade at USD85.42.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for December delivery rose 0.10% to trade at USD88.76 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.68 a barrel.
