Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Goods and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 2.33% or 0.106 points to trade at 4.646 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 1.31% or 0.10 points to end at 7.33 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) was up 1.30% or 0.120 points to 9.345 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which lost 3.52% or 0.180 points to trade at 4.930 in late trade. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) declined 3.21% or 1.03 points to end at 31.02 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) shed 2.04% or 0.55 points to 26.46.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 111 to 68 and 11 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.16% or 0.60 to $52.46 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.00% or 0.50 to hit $50.33 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.01% or 12.85 to trade at $1255.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.38% to 1.1162, while EUR/GBP rose 0.40% to 0.8828.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.45% at 96.56.
