Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF), which rose 2.84% or 141 points to trade at 5110 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 1.89% or 1400 points to end at 75400 and Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) was up 1.68% or 12.6 points to 760.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avner L (TA:AVNRp), which lost 3.48% or 10.7 points to trade at 297.0 in late trade. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 3.22% or 52 points to end at 1561 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) shed 3.01% or 440 points to 14200.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 203 to 135 and 110 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.58% or 0.25 to $42.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $49.23 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.34% or 3.80 to trade at $1116.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.28% to 3.8266, while EUR/ILS rose 1.30% to 4.2376.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.25% at 96.84.
