Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for February delivery traded at USD46.51 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.56%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD46.78 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD44.20 and resistance at USD51.27.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.09% to trade at USD92.44.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for March delivery rose 0.44% to trade at USD48.37 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD1.86 a barrel.
