On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD101.14 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.17%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD101.17 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD100.37 and resistance at USD102.53.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.02% to trade at USD81.30.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery fell 0.11% to trade at USD107.52 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.38 a barrel.
