On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for May delivery traded at USD4.542 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 1.46%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD4.543 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD4.312 and resistance at USD4.543.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.54% to trade at USD79.91.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for May delivery rose 0.49% to trade at USD100.93 a barrel while Heating oil for May delivery rose 0.22% to trade at USD2.8971 per gallon.
