Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Retail and Cement sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.77%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.63% or 0.65 points to trade at 7.40 at the close. Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) added 9.46% or 1.50 points to end at 17.35 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) was up 9.04% or 3.20 points to 38.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110), which lost 5.00% or 2.75 points to trade at 52.25 in late trade. Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) declined 3.95% or 0.30 points to end at 7.30 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) shed 2.94% or 0.20 points to 6.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 109 to 42 and 16 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.29% or 0.41 to $31.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.83% or 0.64 to hit $34.40 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.73% or 8.30 to trade at $1149.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.94% to 4.2052, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.71% at 96.56.
