Earlier, it traded at a session low USD51.52 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD49.82 and resistance at USD54.92.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.27% to trade at USD94.72.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for April delivery rose 0.37% to trade at USD60.43 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD8.59 a barrel.
