Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300), which rose 10.00% or 8.93 points to trade at 98.25 at the close. SABB Takaful (SE:8080) added 9.81% or 4.10 points to end at 45.90 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) was up 6.98% or 1.40 points to 21.45 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150), which lost 8.29% or 3.31 points to trade at 36.60 in late trade. Saudi Hollandi Bank (SE:1040) declined 1.88% or 0.90 points to end at 47.00 and Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201) shed 1.76% or 1.30 points to 72.75.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 93 to 70 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.35% or 0.21 to $60.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.82% or 0.55 to hit $66.27 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1227.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.82% to 4.2572, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.71% at 93.95.
