Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 6.05% or 12.90 points to trade at 226.10 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 3.98% or 12.70 points to end at 331.50 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was up 3.84% or 7.5 points to 202.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which lost 4.55% or 1.74 points to trade at 36.47 in late trade. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) declined 4.47% or 5.70 points to end at 121.70 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) shed 3.82% or 4.3 points to 109.3.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 101 to 83 and 15 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.54% or 1.13 to $43.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.26% or 1.06 to hit $45.85 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.15 to trade at $1245.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.45% to 9.5215, while USD/NOK rose 0.70% to 8.5624.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 97.50.
