On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for December delivery traded at USD82.06 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.18%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD82.11 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD79.10 and resistance at USD84.08.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.03% to trade at USD85.02.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for December delivery rose 0.32% to trade at USD85.50 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.44 a barrel.
