Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for November delivery traded at USD80.69 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.33%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD80.57 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD80.01 and resistance at USD86.29.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.12% to trade at USD84.97.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for December delivery fell 0.46% to trade at USD83.53 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD2.84 a barrel.
