Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA), which rose 0.38% or 2.5 points to trade at 662.5 at the close. TDC A/S (COP:TDC) fell 0.10% or 0.05 points to end at 51.95 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was down 0.57% or 1.8 points to 316.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which lost 2.99% or 18.5 points to trade at 601.0 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) declined 2.85% or 8.9 points to end at 303.5 and FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) shed 2.74% or 8.3 points to 294.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 138 to 26 and 3 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.71% or 0.40 to $56.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.29% or 0.18 to hit $64.17 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.34% or 4.10 to trade at $1202.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 6.9184, while EUR/DKK fell 0.05% to 7.4609.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 97.79.
