Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.20% or 10.0 points to trade at 464.2 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 0.42% or 1.1 points to end at 264.6 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.34% or 0.6 points to 177.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 2.13% or 6.9 points to trade at 317.3 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 1.26% or 1.6 points to end at 125.2 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 1.16% or 3.2 points to 273.3.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 83 to 57 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.97% or 1.57 to $41.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 3.68% or 1.54 to hit $43.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.62% or 8.50 to trade at $1364.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.67% to 6.6717, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4377.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.51% at 95.50.
