On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for August delivery traded at USD3.797 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.68%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.817 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.756 and resistance at USD3.976.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.04% to trade at USD80.89.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for September delivery rose 0.49% to trade at USD102.89 a barrel while Heating oil for August delivery rose 0.42% to trade at USD2.8662 per gallon.
