Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.83% or 23.5 points to trade at 853.5 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.86% or 0.63 points to end at 34.49 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.70% or 1.25 points to 74.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 1.66% or 3.9 points to trade at 231.0 in late trade. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) declined 0.30% or 2.0 points to end at 670.5 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) shed 0.25% or 0.3 points to 120.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 103 to 60 and 7 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.31% or 0.82 to $34.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.63% or 0.23 to hit $37.16 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 2.54% or 27.40 to trade at $1049.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.93% to 6.9026, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4612.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.89% at 99.28.
