Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.79%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which rose 5.81% or 380.0 points to trade at 6920.0 at the close. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) added 4.99% or 720.0 points to end at 15140.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 2.76% or 250.0 points to 9300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which lost 2.14% or 60.0 points to trade at 2750.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.84% or 0.3 points to end at 16.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) shed 1.76% or 30.0 points to 1670.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 12 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 3.34% or 4.15 to $119.92 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.91% or 30.00 to hit $3336.50 , while the February Gold contract rose 0.77% or 8.10 to trade at $1064.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.19% to 3145.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.58% to 812.87.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 100.22.
