Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.93% or 2.20 points to trade at 24.35 at the close. Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 9.65% or 2.20 points to end at 25.00 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) was up 7.81% or 1.30 points to 17.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE:3020), which lost 2.78% or 1.00 points to trade at 35.00 in late trade. Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) declined 2.49% or 2.25 points to end at 88.00 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) shed 1.64% or 0.15 points to 9.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 137 to 29 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.34% or 0.17 to $48.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.49% or 0.25 to hit $50.79 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.51% or 5.70 to trade at $1119.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.1002, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 97.43.
